The ApprenticeshipNI (Apps21) programme offers training across a wide range of professional and technical areas, to 16-24 year olds.

WHAT IS AN APPRENTICE?

An Apprentice is a new or existing employee, working with experienced staff to learn and develop skills. An Apprentice receives “off-the-job” training on a day-release basis with Bryson FutureSkills, to work towards achieving Vocational Qualifications at Levels 2/3 and Essential Skills qualifications.

WHO ARE APPRENTICESHIPS FOR?

To take part in the ApprenticeshipsNI Programme an employee must be:

  • Aged 16-24 years
  • In employment with a Northern Ireland company
  • Employed on a permanent contract working a minimum of 21 hours per week
  • Meet the entry requirements of the chosen Apprenticeship Framework
