North Belfast Employment Programme

The Employment element of this programme is now fully subscribed and there are no more positions available.

The North Belfast Employment Programme offered paid employment and training opportunities for 51 weeks for individuals who are 12 months or more unemployed or economically inactive.

The jobs will include carrying out environmental improvements on owner-occupied and private-rental houses including energy efficiency measures, along with the creation of two community gardens in Ardoyne and Ballysillan.

Participants will be able to undertake Level 2 accredited training in Horticulture, General Construction and a Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor Award.
